Studio Policy

Scheduling

Lessons are scheduled on a routine weekly schedule. At the beginning of each month, you will be required to make a tuition payment by cash, check, or Zelle.

Location

Since I currently don’t own a studio, all lessons will take place at the student’s home. A piano or keyboard will be required for lessons.

Rates

You will receive a statement through email on or before the 1st of each month. The statement will detail your rates and payments and will keep track of scheduled lessons, completed lessons, missed lessons, and other relevant details.

At any time, if you wish to discontinue lessons, there won’t be a penalty. I will either invoice you for any unpaid lessons that are received, or refund any additional payments made for the remaining lessons not yet given.

Cancelations

The missed lessons are non-refundable. If you must cancel a lesson during the year, make-up lessons can be rescheduled within the following two weekends online through Zoom. In person make-up lessons are only available on the same week if another student canceled his or her lesson, then you may take up that student’s time slot.

If I must cancel any scheduled lessons, I will credit you the per-lesson rate for each missed lesson on your next monthly statement.

Households with more than one student): If all students in a household are not available for a lesson, but one or more would still wishes to continue the lesson, the unavailable student(s) will forfeit his or her time, and the available student(s) may use that additional time if they wish.

Holiday Schedule

There won’t be lessons on the following dates:

      – Any day on the week of Spring Break

      – Day of Thanksgiving

      – Any day on the week of Christmas

      – Day of New Year’s Eve

If you wish to continue lessons on any of the above-mentioned days, please contact me ahead of time.

Recitals

Two recitals will be scheduled throughout the year: one in spring and another in winter.
